Carrie’s nephew Max was the ring bearer and Mike’s cousin Hanna was flower girl. Carrie’s dog Ace was decked out in a Swarovski crystal-encrusted pink tuxedo. About 250 guests attended the wedding at the Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Georgia. The guest list included Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill and many well known hockey players. Guests found their table assignments on hockey pucks. The reception included a four-course dinner, including sushi, risotto lollipops and a wedding cake made entirely of cupcakes. The wedding cake cupcake tower was made by bridesmaid Ivey Childers and the couple’s first dance was “Love Never Fails”, by a Christian singer Brandon Heath.
