One of the most reconognized tiaras is the George IV State Diadem because it is featured on much of the money in several countries. It was designed in 1820 by Rundell, Bridge and Rundell for the coronation of King George IV . The diadem was also worn during the coronation of Queen Victoria, and later Queen Elizabeth II. The diadem includes 1333 diamonds weighing 325.75 carats and also has 169 beautiful pearls along its base. Its design features shamrocks, the symbols of England, Scotland and Ireland.
