The Wedding Tiara

If you are drawn to dragonflies or butterflies, why not wear it in your hair? Some of the most beautiful jewels are the vintage brooches of the 40's and 50's. You can find just about any bug, animal, or flower which has been set with diamonds and rhinestones or precious gems that can be worn as a tiara in your hair. You may ask.....Just how are you to wear a brooch in your hair? It may be easier than you think. With an inexpensive metal comb and some craft wire, and a pair of small pliers you can attach the comb to the pin at the back of the brooch. Be sure to cut off the sharp end of the pin with some metal pliers cutters after you have secured the comb to the brooch. (Be very careful when cutting off the end of the pin, as it could go flying almost anywhere) Brooch hairpieces can be a very unique way of giving your bridesmaids a different look by having different hairpieces but matching the gemstones that work within your wedding colors.
