Victoria and David Beckham are always in the spotlight for their unique and orignial style. At their July 1999 they asked all guests to dress in black and white at the reception while they were decked out in purple. While the wedding ceremony was private, witnessed by 29 family and friends, their reception included 230 guests. The wedding was held at the 560-acre Gothic Luttrellstown Castle in Dublin, Ireland. The couple shocked guests with a nude cake topper of themselves (except for a few leaves) and an 18-piece orchestra fireworks display were unque touches in their reception.
Victoria wore an ivory wedding dress designed by Vera Weng and a lavish tiara designed by Slim Barrett, which was encrusted with 231 diamonds. Designer Slim Barrett auctioned off the crown in 2000, and has donated the proceeds to the British Red Cross, as well as an
Irish Charity Corporation whom helps under-privileged children in inner city areas.
