Grecian Roman styles have made a huge comeback, and have never really gone out of style. Alicia Keys looked stunning on her wedding day to producer Swizz Beatz in August on the island of Corsica dressed in a Grecian gown. The wedding was held few kilometers from Bonifacio just west of the beautiful country of Italy. The pregnant 29-year-old Grammy Award-winning singer wore an Grecian style wedding dress designed by Vera Wang. Wang was originally inspired by a style of dress worn by Egyptian princesses. The gown was made of an ivory silk georgette, asymmetrical in style. The draped gown was simply elegant with a little detail on the back shoulder. Other than her jewel-encrusted Christian Louboutin sandals, she focused her main jewelry in her hair rather than on her gown or around her neck. The overall look was not overdone, and remained simply elegant, but still she had a lot of bling which really gave her wedding appearance very regal look. Keys perfectly accented her graceful flowing gown with a historical looking Grecian jewel encrusted headband which was originally a one-of-a-kind necklace that was reworked by Jacob & Co. The custom fitted 60 carat diamond headpiece perfectly swagged across her forehead and pinned behind her over sized bun. Pictures from Alicia Keys Web

This head piece is stunning. But I believe Alicia could make a piece of seaweed on her head look good. Thanks for this post.
